Sally Thomson Artist

Sally Thomson is an artist based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Sally is a realist painter. Her landscapes are lively and colourful expressing her joy of plein air painting. Her passion for pet portrait painting is evident in the vibrancy of her subjects and her commissions have continuously delighted her clients.

Pastels as her preferred medium. She finds that the medium brings out the true qualities of her subjects, reflecting their charatcers in a timeless manner that only pastels can achieve.

Sally believes in working closely with her clients to ensure that her finished images draw out the real character of her subjects.

Sally has successfully exhibited locally in art exhibitions Maleny, Kenilworth, Emanuel and Noosa.
Is an active member of the Pastel Society of Australia and Buderim Craft Cottage.

Sally accepts local and interstate comissions.

Sally accepts commissions
for a range of portraiture assignments including dogs, horses, cats and many other subjects.
